I came into Jukka’s lab as an undergraduate in 2004. In 2006 I graduated, got into the GSBM graduate school and began my thesis work here. I’m studying the development of mouse molars. To be more precise, my interest lies in cusp pattern dynamics. Mostly I grow embryonic molars in tissue culture conditions, manipulate them in different ways, and see how their development is affected. Another approach consists of collecting the skulls of various transgenic mouse lines and analyzing and comparing the cusp patterns.
