REGISTRATION

Registration deadline is Friday, October 21, 2011.

Graduate students enrolled in the supporting doctoral programs (see »») may register free of charge. Other students and researchers are eligible to register with a participation fee of 172 EUR inclusive of accommodation in double rooms. Registration without accommodation is 100 EUR. Registration is valid only after confirmation of registration with payment details.

Participation is now possible without submitting a PagePoster. For participating PhD Students a PagePoster is required for credits. Participating PhD students and PostDocs may submit a PagePoster to be printed in the program book. The PagePosters will be evaluated by the organizers.

The best three PagePosters will be awarded:
1. up to 600 EUR
2. up to 400 EUR
3. up to 200 EUR

Participation in the 5S Symposium covers the following:
1. Lunches and coffee breaks during the meeting
2. Symposium dinner / HeLiSci Xmas Party in restaurant Virgin Oil
3. Graduate students enrolled in the supporting doctoral programs may register free of charge inclusive of accommodation in hotel Scandic Grand Marina in double rooms for participants arriving outside the Capital Area.

PAGEPOSTER SUBMISSION

PagePoster is a smaller alternative to a traditional poster challenging the ability of PhD students to summarize their most important information. All approved PagePosters will be published in the program booklet and distributed to all participants.

The aim of the PagePoster is
- to stimulate discussion with fellow graduate students and other interested participants in the Symposium
- to introduce you to other graduate students and to the scientific community
- to facilitate future scientific or other interaction by acting as a contact catalogue for all participants

 The aim of the PagePoster is NOT
- to describe detailed data about your project
- to publish sensitive data about your project
- to list publications

The PagePoster content is prepared by the graduate students prior to registering using this template. Instructions are found here.

After submitting the registration form the system will ask for two files to be attached:
1. Your digital photo (max 4 cm height, above 300 dpi)
2. Your PagePoster content file in PDF (FirstnameLastname.pdf)

Accommodation details in the registration form
FinBioNet has reserved accommodation in hotel Scandic Grand Marina in double rooms for participants arriving outside the Capital Area. In the registration form you can indicate the person you wish to mutually share room with.
