Plant-Microbe Interaction and Microbial Biodiversity
Our group is working on various aspects of microbial ecology. The main study areas are symbiotic plant-microbe interaction, biodiversity and phylogeny of nitrogen fixing root-nodule bacteria, co-evolution, ecology and bioremediation of oil-polluted soil.
We have knowledge and good facilities for using a wide range of molecular biological and microbiological methods.
