TRAVEL GRANTS

FOR STUDENT EXCHANGE
-
short-term visits of 1-2 weeks to participate in workshops/courses, for learning eg. specific laboratory techniques etc.
-
longer visits of 1-6 months for joint research projects/collaboration
   
  APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
  1) Discuss the visit with your supervisor
  2) Contact the lab you wish to visit OR in case of courses, the organizing doctoral program
  3) Write an informal application with at least the following info:
 
-
information of the destination and duration of the proposed visit
 
-
budget of the visit
 
-
a short description of the relevance of the visit
 
-
attach in the application your supervisor’s 'Letter of Support'
 
4)
Submit your application to the sending doctoral program AND
the group leader of the hosting laboratory (or in case of courses, the organizing doctoral program)

    Please note: student exchange is of highest priority - funding for group leaders’ and post-docs' visits can be allocated when/if within the budget of the sending doctoral program.
